Moss Side Fisheries (Warrington) 10th April 2011 Had a very hot day at this great fishery, with an early start lots of fish topping with pleanty of movement in the margins and reeds. The fishery has two waters canal pool and doughnut pool, both have islands and plenty of features. I fished the canal pool on this occasion the first peg on the left looking from car park. The fishery is well kept and the fishery owner Ken, was more than helpful and always on hand to help, give advice and keep and eye on everything. The fishery was tidy with well spaced out swims with good standing. The island on the canal pool can be reached by waggler feeder and 10 meter pole with a good shelf to fish against. On the day, good skimmer's, carp and tench were taken on pellet up in the water and on the bottom. Other anglers on the day also took good sized carp and tench. This water looks a great plavce for a great days fishing and would be well suited for a pleasure and match fishing, with it being ideal for novice anglers and young anglers. All in all a great days fishing, and will defanatly be visiting it again very soon.
